"Kids for Peace" Team -
The "Kids for Peace" Team, headed by Jill McManigal and Donna Pinto, blossomed into its own vibrant organization, and has its own website! The group is busy planning events, talks at schools, school "clubs", and school activities regarding the DOP Bill, and the power of peace in the hands of children. "City Council and Board of Supervisors Resolutions Supporting the DOP" Team - We have teams working on getting the San Diego City Council (and other, local city councils), and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, to pass resolutions supporting the passage of the DOP Bill. If you want more information, and/or want to sign up for this Team, simply click here and we will make sure you get to the right person.

"AFDOP Concert for Peace" Team - If you want more information about, or want to sign up for the Team to plan the above-described "Concert for Peace", and the events that will be a part of it (i.e. crafts for children, raffle, tabling for the DOP, American "Potlatch", etc.), simply click here; send your name, e-mail address, and phone number(s), and we will make sure you get to the right person.

Our General Meetings are no longer monthly, but quarterly. Also, location now changes with every meeting as we rotate through the five Congressional Districts in the AFDOP area.

Americans for the Department of Peace (AFDOP) is a citizens’ group advocating passage of the Bill to establish a cabinet level U.S. Department of Peace.
