_____
"What is quite clear - and would become
clear as you go along with this campaign - is that you are trying, and
I consider myself with you on this in every way...
[To create] not only a massive but a basic
change in our culture,
in our entire approach to our relationships with other human beings...
It's not a matter of simply getting another Department of government.
You're speaking of an entire philosophical revolution."
~ Walter Cronkite

OPRAH
MAGAZINE - DOP - in the news -
Feb. 2006 & Nov. 2005 Issue:
EVEN ONE VOICE CAN BE HEARD! :
February's 2006 issue published our very own AFDOP's
Jerry Gibbs' letter to the editor that summarized his belief in the Department
of Peace Bill (see page 30 for his letter).
"I hope only that it reaches a audience that
are as inspired about this as our group is! We can get the word out and
will make a difference one small victory at a time. Peace Be Upon You!"~
Jerry G.
In the November 2005 print issue, reference pg. 259
in the section titled "Profiles
in Peace" (the
article is The Marriage Whisperer). The first paragraph starts:

"The same techniques that keep marriages strong, says therapist
Harville Hendrix, can end conflict between nations. It starts with trying
on someone else's reality. "
The last paragraph of the article goes into detail about the DOP bill
and why Hendrix is endorsing it. The complete article is not on-line;
so please reference/purchase an issue to read all about it!
What a great endorsement: good to use for Outreach materials when tabling
or talking to people about DOP.
